Fees and Financing

We are committed to making the International MBA program accessible to Asia’s vibrant pool of aspiring graduates. We do so by providing full and partial scholarships to exceptionally qualified students.

These students are chosen not only for their potential to enrich discussions in our case rooms and encourage wider worldviews among the student body, but for their ability to contribute to their own organizations and communities upon graduation.

 

FEES

The International MBA program fee for the January 2024 intake is USD 28,500.

A reservation fee of USD 1,000 will be asked of the student upon acceptance of the admission offer to reserve a slot/seat in the class. This fee is non-refundable and will be deducted from the total program fee.

DISCOUNTS

Accepted International MBA candidates for the January 2024 intake who will register on the dates mentioned below will be entitled to an early bird discount. The discount can be applied to the registration fee payment.

 

Less USD 2,000 If paid on or before 30 June 2023
Less USD 1,500 If paid on or before 31 August 2023
Less USD 1,000 If paid on or before 31 October 2023
    • Family members of an AIM degree program alumnus/alumna with 1st degree of consanguinity (parent or child) and affinity (spouse) will be entitled to 20% discount on the total program fee. 
    • Alumni of School of Executive Education and Lifelong Learning (SEELL), formerly School of Executive Education, programs will be entitled to 10% discount on the total program fee.

Note: Offers cannot be combined and only one can be availed. We will consider whichever discount is higher. Offers are subject to change.

 

LOAN

AIM Study Now, Pay Later Loan Program for Filipinos (Applicable to Program Fee Only)

AIM offers a study now, pay later program to help students focus on what matters most – their education. This loan program has limited slots and applications are processed on a first come first serve basis. Priority will be given to qualified early applicants. Please note that our loan program is only applicable to maximum 80% of the program fee balance (net of registration fee, discounts, and/or scholarships)

AIM’s loan program does not require collaterals. In lieu of this, all applicants are required to provide a co-maker. Co-maker must be someone you know who is willing to be your guarantor for your loan. His responsibility is to settle the monthly amortization when it is due if you default. He must not be more than 55 years old and must be living and working in the country.

Applicants must first be accepted into the program before they can avail of the loan program. 

Quick Overview

    • Monthly Amortization – starts 3 months from the scheduled end-date of the program

    • Maximum loan amount depends on the salary pre-International MBA

SCHOLARSHIPS

Scholarship applications will only be processed once applicants are admitted to the International MBA program. AIM reserves the right not to award these scholarships if no suitable outstanding candidates are identified.

The Asian Development Bank – Japan Scholarship Program

The Asian Development Bank (ADB), with funding from the government of Japan, established the ADB-JSP Scholarship Program to encourage and strengthen human resource development in 1988. AIM was one of the first ADB-designated institutions to receive scholarship funding for deserving students. Upon graduation, the scholars are expected to contribute to economic and social development in their home countries.

The scholarship award covers 100% tuition fee, including campus dormitory accommodation, one round-trip economy class airfare, and stipend.

Criteria:

The candidate should:

    • be a national of an ADB borrowing member country and Japanese ODA (Official Development Assistance) scholarship-eligible country;
    • not hold dual citizenship of any developed country;
    • have gained admission to an approved master’s course at a Designated Institution;
    • hold a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent with superior academic record;
    • have at least two (2) years of full-time professional working experience (acquired after a university degree) at the time of application. The candidate must have proficiency in oral and written English communication skills to be able to pursue studies;
    • not be more than 35 years old at the time of application;
    • be in good health;
    • agree to return and work in his/her home country for at least two (2) years after completion of studies under the Program in order to contribute to its development;
    • not be an Executive Directors, Alternate Directors, management, staff and consultants of ADB, or the close relatives of the aforementioned by blood or adoption with the term “close relative” defined as: spouse, mother, stepmother, father, stepfather, sister, stepsister, brother, stepbrother, son, daughter, aunt, uncle, niece, or nephew;
    • not be staff of ADB–JSP Designated Institutions;
    • not be living or working in a country other than his/her home country;
    • not have previously studied abroad;
    • not be already enrolled in graduate degree programs; and
    • not be seeking support for undergraduate studies, short-term training, conferences, seminars, thesis writing, and research projects

    • Duly Accomplished ADB-JSP Information Sheet (download form – MS Word or PDF)
    • Copy of the University’s Application Form
    • Copy of valid Passport
    • Copy of Diploma (undergraduate)
    • Copy of Transcript of Academic Records with Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) / Overall Grade Point Average and percentage ranking (e.g. A+ = 90%, 3 = 80%, 2.800 = 75%)
      Note: if this info is not in your Transcript of Records/Marksheets, request your CGPA in a certificate format from your school’s Registrar’s Office.
    • Certificate of Employment with Compensation issued by the company (with company’s letterhead/logo and signed by authorize signatory). The certificate must state the following details:
        • Start date of employment;
        • End date of employment;
          Example:
          • January 2016 to December 2017
          • January 2016 to Present (if currently working/connected to the company)
        • Monthly or Annual Income
          Note: if the present job is less than 2 years, submit also the certificate of employment from the previous company.
    • Certificate of Family Income issued by the company (with company’s letterhead/logo):
        • Parents’ Annual/Monthly Income if applicant is single;
        • Spouse’s Annual/Monthly Income if applicant is married
        • If status is unemployed, retired or deceased, an authenticated supporting document must be submitted (e.g. certificate issued by the local government)
    • If the income is in local currency, fill-out and submit the Conversion To USD form.

Scholarship applications will only be processed once candidates are admitted to the program. AIM will screen your application based on its own selection criteria, keeping in mind the ADB eligibility requirements and selection criteria. In turn, ADB will review the submissions from AIM and based on their selection criteria, will recommend awardees to the Executive Director for formal approval.

GTFI-AIM Scholarship Program

The GT-Metro Foundation, Inc (GTFI) established the GTFI-AIM Scholarship Program to provide financial assistance to promising Chinese professionals who wish to pursue the International MBA (iMBA) program at the Asian Institute of Management. Upon graduation, the scholars are expected to contribute to economic and social development in their home country.

The scholarship award covers 100% tuition fee, including campus dormitory accommodation, one round-trip economy class airfare, and stipend.

Criteria:

    • This scholarship is open to candidates of Chinese descent from any province in the People’s Republic of China, with priority given to candidates from Fujian Province. Chinese citizens currently residing and/or working in the Philippines or other country are not eligible.
    • Applicant should agree to return to the People’s Republic of China after completion of the AIM iMBA degree.
    • Candidates must have completed a bachelor’s degree from a reputable university and must have a minimum GMAT score of 570.

Requirements:

    • Letter of Intent indicating your reason for availing the scholarship program (e.g., why you deserve it and why it should be awarded to you)
    • Certificate of employment with salary information included
    • Latest Income Tax Return (ITR)
    • Latest three months copy of Pay slips upon scholarship application
    • Copy of Official Transcript of Records with Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA)

      Note: if this info is not in your Transcript of Records/Marksheets, request your CGPA in a certificate format from your school’s Registrar’s Office.

    • Notarized affidavit of family income (download template)

In turn, GTFI will review the submissions from AIM and based on their selection criteria, will recommend awardees to the Executive Director for formal approval

AIM Institutional Scholarships

Scholarships are awarded to applicants who demonstrate excellence in their admission test scores, academics, career, and other competencies. Scholarships are awarded to those who exhibit strong AIM values and ideals and can be champions of the brand as a student and future alum. The scholarship award can cover up to 50% of tuition fee. Full scholarship may be awarded to exceptional students.

Requirements:

    • Letter of Intent indicating your reason for availing the scholarship program (e.g., why you deserve it and why it should be awarded to you)
    • Certificate of employment with salary information included
    • Latest Income Tax Return (ITR)
    • Latest three months copy of Pay slips upon scholarship application
    • Copy of Official Transcript of Records with Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA)
