The Washington SyCip Graduate School of Business (WSGSB) together with our course lead faculty, Prof. Rebecca R. Ricalde, has recently concluded a successful Global Network Course on Retail Marketing for the Global Network for Advanced Management (GNAM) students. Global Network Courses (GNC) or Small Network Online Courses (SNOC) are virtual elective courses that focuses on a specific area of expertise, these courses are offered by a member school open to students throughout the network.

The Retail Marketing course was held from October 12 – November 11, 2021, and was joined by 26 graduate students from EGADE Business School, ESMT Berlin, FGV EAESP, INCAE Business School, Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, Seoul National University Business School and Yale School of Management.

I would recommend the retail marketing course conducted by Professor Rebecca. The course materials and curriculum are well designed and structured. Professor Rebecca is very encouraging and supportive throughout the course, and I really appreciate her energetic and engaging teaching style. I have developed more knowledge in retail marketing from different case studies, interesting course discussions and strategic paper analysis. It’s been a great journey to participate in an exchange program with diverse classmates to observe divergent information systems, as well as build upon my cultural cognizance. It surely adds a valuable experience to my academic development and future professional career.” ~ Carol Huang, ESMT Berlin

“As an MBA student at the Yale School of Management, I decided to join the Retail Marketing class in order to experience the global network of business schools and the diverse set of students and backgrounds. Not only did I enjoy the technical content and interesting cases, but I was also pleasantly surprised by everybody’s insightful inputs. I look forward to a similar experience in the future, maybe next time with more opportunities to directly interact with other students, such as in group assignments.” ~ Matias Rodriguez Bugada, Yale SOM

“In this course, I’ve had the opportunity to study the most up to date retail marketing cases and learn about others realities from different parts of the world through a multicultura classmates.  In a dynamic way and well structured by AIM.  A rewarding learning experience, indeed.” ~ Leonardo Correia, FGV EAESP
