MBA and EMBA Application Questions
Will you be accepting online versions of the GMAT and/or GRE?
Yes. An exam score is still a requirement for admission to MBA and EMBA. However, due to COVID-19, testing centers have been closed but an online alternative was made available. You may schedule your online exam and submit to us the official score to complete your application. You may visit the GMAT page and GRE page for more information.
When can I schedule my AIM Admission Test (AIMAT)?
I am already admitted to the MBA/EMBA program, but my university is currently closed, and I cannot request for the original transcripts. What should I do?
The original Transcript of Records is part of the enrollment requirements. However, we allow conditional enrollment by submitting a soft copy of the Transcript of Records. You may work on this requirement as soon as you are able to request from your university.
How will the admissions interview be done?
Starting 17 March 2020, all our admissions interviews are being conducted online. Once initial requirements have been submitted and evaluated, we will send an invitation for a Zoom interview.
Will I be able to get a deferral in case I am not able to leave my country due to travel ban?
Yes. AIM has one-year deferment policy. Your MBA or EMBA application is valid for two (2) academic years, including the year when you applied.
Is AIM still open for walk-in inquiries and campus tour visits?
Due to the community quarantine in the Philippines, campus visits are not possible at the moment. We will let you know once we are able to receive visitors again on our campus.
What are the plans for global admissions events?
Due to the community quarantine and travel ban in the Philippines, all our local and international events have been postponed. In the meantime, all our events are being done virtually. Stay tuned for upcoming online events by visiting our Events page.
How are the current MBA and EMBA cohort are being taught?
AIM has adopted the hybrid teaching format for the Executive MBA program. Starting in April 2021, EMBA students can select either to take the program fully on-campus or attend classes online via zoom with on-campus classes on five (5) weekends. Top priority for zoom classes will be given to applicants with the greatest need based on geographic location. The MBA program remains to have a face-to-face mode of class.
However, given the safety requirements imposed by public health authorities, physical classes have been suspended temporarily and we have shifted the delivery of all our degree and non-degree programs completely online. Resumption of face-to-face class is subject to the directives of the national government.
Will the incoming MBA and EMBA class be taught online?
We are hopeful that we will be able to resume physical classes by the start of the program intakes.
