Enrico C. Angtuaco

Prof. Enrico C. Angtuaco is the Benguet Corporation Professor of Business Management. His current assignment is Program Director of the Master in Management (MM) Program. A former Associate Dean of the Master in Management Program, he is on the core faculty of the W.SyCip Graduate School of Business (WSGSB). He handles classes in management accounting and control, finance, statistics, quantitative analysis, marketing, management games, problem and decision analyses, strategy formulation and implementation, computer applications and critical thinking.
He has been the lead faculty for finance and management accounting for the Master in Business Administration (MBA) Program and has served as well as core faculty of Master in Management and Executive Education programs for a number of years. Prior to his associate deanship, he was on the core faculty of the Master in Business Management, or MBM (now MBA) Program for two years; the MM Program for five years; and, the Executive Education Program for five years. He has held various administrative positions for AIM, as follows: Assistant Dean for Executive Education, Management Development Program Director, Basic Management Program Director, Management Analysis Course Director, MRR Coordinator for both MBM and MM Programs, and Written Analysis of Cases (WAC) Coordinator for the MM Program.
His consultancies include banks, telecommunication companies, pharmaceutical firms, retailing businesses, personal care product manufacturers, financial institutions, food manufacturers, transportation outfits, cargo services, religious organizations, research foundations, and non-profit groups.
Prior to joining AIM, Prof. Angtuaco was a faculty member of the Ateneo de Manila University for fourteen years. He handled courses in the Department of Management and served as its chair for over a decade. He was also a part-time faculty member of the Maryknoll College Foundation, Inc. and served as the department head of Business Administration for a year.
Before committing himself to the academe, Prof. Angtuaco served as a senior consultant at the Department of Agriculture’s National Food and Agricultural Council, as finance and administrative manager of Metals Engineering Resources Corporation (Metercor); and as assistant to the executive vice-president of Redson Textile Manufacturing Company.
An active Rotarian since 1984, Prof. Angtuaco is a charter member of the Rotary Club of Sto. Domingo, Q. C. For seven years (1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1993, 2001, and 2006), the club bestowed upon him the award for Most Outstanding Club Rotarian. From 1988 to 1989, he assumed the presidency of the Club which was adjudged one of the most outstanding Rotary Clubs of R.I. District 378, given the numerous district awards received for superlative service to the less fortunate and to the district. He continues to serve the District and his club in various capacities as senior active member and presidential adviser.
Prof. Angtuaco holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the Ateneo de Manila University (1972). He completed his Master in Business Management at the Asian Institute of Management (1974).
